Certifications
Certified Restorer (CR)
Highest level of trained restorer certification by the Association of Specialists in Cleaning
and Restoration, the international industry group. All CR candidates must have several years
of experience in disaster damage restoration as a technician, supervisor or estimator.
Certified Mold Remediator (CMR)
Highest level of certification for mold remediation experts awarded by the Indoor Air Quality
Association (IAQA). The CMR training and coursework recognizes professionals who meet the highest
standards identifying and removing indoor microbiological contaminants.
Water Loss Specialist (WLS)
Specialized training in water damage awarded by the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and
Restoration.
Certified Property Manager (CPM)
Highest certification awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), an international
trade association for residential and commercial property managers. All CPMs must pass an ethics
exam and adhere to the CPM Code of Professional Ethics.
