This week Faith Dickinson, facility consultant at Church Restoration Group, completed courses at FEMA’s Emergency Management Institute. Through the courses, Dickinson was oriented to the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and became a certified Emergency Planner. The courses also offered expanded knowledge of critical issues in disaster preparedness and response, especially in the context of inter-organization communication and cooperation.
Dickinson regularly coordinates and presents disaster preparedness seminars throughout western Pennsylvania for various companies and professional groups.
