Client: St. Joseph Church Location: Erie, PA Architect: N/A
One of the focal pieces of this soon to be 150 year old church is the large wooden back altar. It is an exquisite and intricately carved piece that was originally created in Germany and assembled in the church.
Complimenting the main altar are two smaller side altars equally decorated.
Church Restoration Group is assisting church leaders with the renovation of their interiors. The works includes refinishing the altars, assisting with color selections, decoratively painting the walls and ceilings, cleaning several statues, repainting the Stations of the Cross, cleaning existing murals and creating three new wall murals on canvas.
All of this work is being conducted in advance of the church's 150 year anniversary.
